this is a photograph taken only because i was running late... i used to go feed your grandmother's outdoor farm cats by the back pond. since i arrived after sunset on this one particular day, i left my car's headlights on so i could see. as soon as i saw the overgrown grass (your dad wasn't always timely with the mowing) covered in dew and illuminated, i knew i had to make a photograph. i immediatly went back to the house to get my camera and your dad. to get this shot, i had to get on the (wet) ground and take many long exposure photographs. since i never have a tripod, i used a construction bucket and a stick for tilt. your dad was "studying my method" the whole time, which basically consists of making comments about my ass and calling his camera a cock-sucker the whole time, while occasionally looking over my shoulder to say "i sure do love you, sugar-socks"
